Our client is a prestigious US law firm – they are now looking to recruit a Guest Services Manager to join their expanding and busy facilities team in London.

The Guest Services Manager is overseeing all aspects of hospitality service operations and directing large multifaceted service offerings.

The standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm (with flexibility required) The salary on offer is up to £50,000 plus very generous benefits. This role will initially be a 6-month fixed term contract. You will be based on site for 5 days a week.

Your responsibilities as a Guest Services Manager will include:

  • Liaising with various service vendors, caterers and third party contracted vendors to provide high quality food services and offerings
  • Managing all internal event planning and external event coordination including large scale event projects
  • Working with local and firmwide committees and managers to help coordinate events for the local office
  • Sourcing and contract with services providers related to events, as needed
  • Partnering with HR on all initiatives affecting employee engagement in the workspace
  • Assisting departments with coordination of events
  • Oversight of conference room bookings through online software tool
  • Providing best in class service to clients by paying significant attention to details, from food service to welcome protocols
  • Overseeing all internal hospitality areas and wellness rooms
  • Coordinating all hospitality communications
  • Managing overall presentation of hospitality areas and wellness rooms
  • Managing the Café Manager, Chef and onsite café vendor team and implement cost saving measures

Requirements as a Guest Services Manager include:

  • Experience of working as a Reception Supervisor/Manager from a law firm or professional services firm
  • Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required
  • Ability to travel, as required
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Experience with electronic scheduling platforms
  • Previous supervisory experience
