Health and Safety Paralegal role working in a rapidly developing office environment. The post holder will be required to work flexibly and conscientiously.

Description


  • Liaising as required with property managers, developers, third-party management companies and leaseholders.
  • Analysing data and relaying key information to the Operations Manager and Head of Building Safety in a clear and concise manner.
  • Reading leases, deeds and other property title documents and miscellaneous documents, identifying key provisions and title structures, seeking assistance as appropriate.
  • Dealing with escalated matters and complaints, providing prompt and pragmatic recommendations for solutions to building safety or property management issues.
  • Working effectively and promptly on instruction and providing operational support in relation to building safety to the Ops Manager and Head of Building Safety
  • Filing and maintaining building safety records, Qube database records and reports on KPIs for both internal and external clients.
  • Drafting and issuing correspondence.
  • Preparing concise instructions for the legal department for advice in connection with various matters being reviewed within the building safety team.

    • Computer literate: intermediate use of Word, Excel, Outlook and Qube

    • An interest in professional development
    • Able to investigate a query and suggest possible outcomes solving problems in an effective manner.
    • Able to write professional letters/communications, both using templates and as ad-hoc letters/communications. A high level of accuracy is required regarding the information provided in the letters/communications, as well as an equally high level of grammatical correction.
