This highly regarded litigation specialist US law firm is keen to hire an Accounts Payable Assistant to support their UK and non-US accounting operations. Due to increased workloads, the firm have taken on additional headcount and require an AP person to focus on all London invoices and staff expenses. This role will be paying circa £35,000 (depending on experience). Core hours for this role are 9.30am- 5.30pm and hybrid working 2/3 days in the office.

The Accounts Payable Assistant duties will include;

• Posting high volume of authorised invoices onto Elite 3E practice management system

• Ensuring all office supplier invoices received are distributed for authorisation in accordance with the firm's approval policies

• Preparing periodic domestic and overseas payment runs by BACS/CHAPS

• Issue remittance advices to suppliers, on a timely basis, as confirmation of payment.

• Reconcile supplier statements

• Filing on a daily basis for staff expenses and disbursements

Candidates will have a minimum of 2 years Accounts Payable knowledge, preferably using Elite 3E or a recognised legal finance system. You will be detail oriented and thorough, wight strong judgement and decision-making skills, An expert timekeeper able to meet deadlines who can communicate confidently and professional both in person and over phone and email.
