Personal Injury Litigation Executive / Paralegal - EL/PL - Manchester

Personal Injury Paralegal EL/PL - This highly-regarded team which specialises in defending EL/PL claims on behalf of major insurance companies as well as other clients eg local authorities and other public bodies.

The nature of the work and the team means that no two days are the same from volume work to technical, high-value catastrophic injury. The team is looking for bright, ambitious candidates who want to forge a career with this leading firm.

Casualty EL/PL - overview

  • Salary: to £29,000
  • Reports to: Partner / Team Leader
  • Previous experience: A minimum of 6-12 months paralegal experience, ideally in personal injury, but the hiring managers are willing to look at candidates from a range of backgrounds and levels of experience including law school leavers with strong academics.

A mix of work across various sectors

The team has key specialisms in advising sector-specific clients in particular areas such as the private and public sector as well as 'third sector'. They also train and host seminars to keep their clients up-to-speed with the latest caselaw and statutory developments in this area.

The EL/PL department advise all manner of leading national insurers on a range of matters from 'volume' litigated EL/PL work to complex injury and large loss. As such, they can offer fantastic, long-term career progression. They are also involved in challenging cross-border matters relating to multiple jurisdictions.

This is a dynamic department handling a varied mix of work for a range of clients from straight forward 'slips and trips' to more complex injury all the way up to high-value large loss claims.
