The Role
The firms is looking to recruit a Senior Associate into the financial services part of our leading Commercial Technology team.
You will work with all partners in the team across the partners' various specialisms. As such the role will suit someone with a broad interest in the Financial Services.

You will be responsible for supporting on a wide range of contracting and advisory projects with a regulatory focus for clients ranging from start-ups to large-scale financial institutions. You will also be involved also on cross-functional projects with other services lines with the wider firm.

You will be expected to develop and apply in depth knowledge of the FS sector to deliver commercial solutions for our clients in this sector.

The Candidate

You will have:

* Experience advising on high end commercial technology matters including complex commercial agreements, licences etc.
* Experience providing regulatory advice across a range of areas including regulated and unregulated products and services in the UK such as payments, e-money etc.
* A sound technical understanding of the regulatory landscape within the FS sector in the UK and Europe.
* An in-depth understanding of the key technologies used by businesses within the FS sector and how to apply the regulatory framework within the UK to the products and services developed by those businesses.
* Experience handling and managing complex legal projects with a regulatory focus and a strong track record of delivery.
