Residential Property Legal Assistant.
Established over 50 years ago, our client is a growing 7 Partner high street law firm. The firm is based in central Abingdon and is well known in the area for providing quality legal advice to both commercial and private clients throughout the region.
Their CQS Accredited Residential Property department within the firm is thriving, with quality work being generated by the firm and its existing clients.  As part of their succession planning they are looking to appoint a Residential Property Legal Assistant to join the buoyant team of 3 other fee earners.
You will be responsible for assisting the fee earner with a  mixed caseload of Conveyancing matters. You will join an experienced team made up of one other full time Conveyancing Solicitor / Manager, an experienced ILEX Support person, two full time support staff, a float secretary and the exchanges and completions team.
The work will include: sales and purchases, remortgages, equity release schemes, transfers of equity, matrimonial conveyancing and lease work.
This is a client facing role and they are seeking someone who has aspirations to develop the residential department.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and friendly, have good academics and have a minimum of 1 years previous Conveyancing experience.
Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience paying up to £23,000 - £28,000.
