This is a great opportunity for an experienced property paralegal to work for a prestigious Legal 500 firm in Reading to specialise in property development work.
The firm has an excellent reputation and big growth plans.
The practice group deals with a complete range of commercial property and development work and is Chambers Listed for its work.
The Development and House Building Team focuses on the acquisition and disposals of development land, planning and construction matters and secured acquisition and development finance.
In the main, you will be supporting fee earners with and learning about:
• acquisition & disposal of development land
• planning and infrastructure agreements/CIL
• secured lending
• preparing sites for disposals of units
• easements and covenants
• non-contentious construction documentation
• acting unsupervised on sales and purchases of residential property
• advising on SDLT
This position would suit someone who is ambitious and keen to specialise in this niche area of property law that offers a huge scope of work and prestigious client base. The department is Partner-led with marketing and business support. You will be an imperative part of the business to help the property development team to continue to flourish.
