We’re looking for a Contract Manager who looks beyond what is just in front of them, is instrumental in driving successful project execution through consistent and commercially sound contract lifecycle management.

As a Contract Manager you will report into the APAC Contract Management Leader, and your mission will be to review and deal with contractual, financial and tax related aspects of major projects ensuring compliance with policies.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiation of contracts (including terms and conditions) with customers or subcontractors along with opportunity leaders, and procurement
  • Reduction exposure to risk under contract through provision of sound and consistent contractual review
  • Working with the project management team to identify and implement a claim and variation management strategy driving profitability for the business
  • Monitoring and supporting project execution and actively participating in project reviews
  • Develop a culture of best practices

Required profile:

  • At least 5+ years of experience with a relevant diploma, certification or equivalent in contract management
  • Local languages including Bahasa and Mandarin will be an advantage 
  • Demonstrated experience in contract management in a project environment or project/finance management
  • Experience and skills in contract negotiation, commercial law and tender evaluation
  • Experience in variation and change management aspects which arise throughout project execution
  • Demonstrable communication, presentation and negotiation skills
