Legal Counsel - Cambridge

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an In-House Commercial Lawyer to join an innovative and growing company within the life sciences sector. As a key member of this close-knit team, you will assist all areas of the Company's business (including its Commercial and Operations).

Responsibilities will include:

• Working on a wide variety of commercial contracts and other forms of legal documentation across all business areas, including Master Service agreements, supplier and outsourcing agreements, Material Transfer Agreements and agreements related to research and collaboration.
• You may also assist with legal disputes and regulatory processes which arise across the business.
• Advise on governance and compliance issues and help develop internal policies and know-how for the department.

Candidate Specification:

• Be a Legal Counsel or In-House Commercial Lawyer between 2 - 8 years PQE
• Ideally have experience within the Life Science, Pharma or Tech sector
• You must have a strong academic record and first-class training
• Proven contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Be a natural communicator with the ability to build effective relationships
• Be organised, have the ability to work well under pressure and prioritise your workload
• Have good judgement and strong organisational skills
• Be personable with an approachable personality

The role offers predominately remote/hybrid working but you would ideally in a commutable distance to the Cambridge region.

Salary at £65,000 - £75,000 per annum plus excellent benefits package.
