Great opportunity for a Senior Property Lawyer to join a well-regarded London Council's fantastic property and development team on a locum basis.
This opportunity is a locum contract, initially 3-months, and expected to be an ongoing position. The Senior Property Lawyer will be able to enjoy the flexibility offered by the council, able to work remotely or in the office as best suits the Senior Property Lawyer.
The council's legal team are a fantastic supportive group and get interesting work. The role is also offering a competitive rate and is anticipated to be an ongoing contract.
Workload will include:
- Commercial property matters such as landlord and tenant, licenses, leases, etc.
- Development and regeneration
- Providing support and guidance to more junior team members
- Drafting documents and applications
- Advising the client department
The Senior Property Lawyer will have substantial experience in property law. While prior local authority experience is preferable, it is not essential so long as a sufficient grounding in property and development is shown.
