The Client
Our client is an International Law Firm looking for an Associate to join its Real Estate Team.
The Role
You will be an important member of the Real Estate Team, advising on a range of high-quality matters including all aspects of the development process, investment deals including complex joint ventures, structured transactions and fund structure creations, and advising corporate occupiers including owners, investors, operators and financial institutions.

The Requirements
The successful candidates work will include (but not be limited to):
- Conducting all aspects of real estate work, managing a variety of client matters with a focus on providing strategic, commercial advice.
- Delegating tasks to and supervising trainees and paralegals and contributing to the technical and legal knowledge of the wider team (writing articles, delivering training and presentations to internal and external clients).
- Proactively managing a complex caseload and supporting more senior colleagues with delivering excellent client service.
- Developing close working relationships with clients, intermediaries, and colleagues in both UK and international offices.
- To play a key role in the success of both the team and the wider firm.
- Exercise high standards of client care in a professional manner at all times.
- Be responsible for achieving agreed levels of billing and time recording.
The successful candidates will need to hold the following skills and experiences:
- Gained excellent relevant experience from a recognised real estate department of a major or medium sized firm.
- Ideally have between 1-3 years PQE.
- Be able to demonstrate an interest in, and enthusiasm for, the commercial property industry.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Have a strong academic background.
- Have the ambition to succeed and commitment to business development and client relationship management.
- Be commercially orientated with good business acumen and a commitment to innovation.
- Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Be well-organised with strong administration and time management skills and the ability and drive to meet demanding deadlines.
