In-House Corporate Paralegal/CoSec Assistant
Our client is one of the leading Power station operators in the UK with assets across multiple locations. They are now looking for a Corporate Paralegal with strong company secretarial experience, who (ideally) also has an understanding and experience of handling data protection related matters. This role is permanent and is based in our client's London office.
Reporting to Legal advisors and the Head of Corporate Governance, the role will involve drafting various corporate documents (board minutes, shareholder resolutions etc.), maintaining the corporate database and statutory registers, and ensuring statutory forms are filed promptly. The role will also involve reviewing data protection related clauses in various types of agreements and advising the commercial teams on data protection related matters. This is by no means an exhaustive list of duties and further details can be provided to suitable applicants.
The role also involves general paralegal and administrative based work, but crucially Company secretarial duties will form a considerable part of the role. As such, applicants must have some relevant experience (although this doesn't necessarily have to have been gained from an In-House environment).
Applicants must have excellent academics (including a good law degree) exemplary organisational and IT skills, with a keen eye for detail. They must also be a quick learner and ready and willing to assist the team with any paralegal and administrative tasks required in a calm and efficient manner.
