Our client is a well-established, fast-expanding and exciting tier 1 practice which is looking for candidates from a claimant Personal Injury Litigation background to join their leading recoveries team in Birmingham. 

THE ROLE
The successful Litigation Lawyer will be offered the chance to work in an excellent property and recovery team where you will be given the opportunity to investigate liability on a variety of general recoveries claims, ranging from escapes of water, flooding, impact and fire damage.

You will manage a varied caseload, including negotiating quantum and settlement of damages with third parties. You will be responsible for obtaining witness statements; contacting relevant parties to obtain salient documents; drafting letters of claim, issuing proceedings, disclosure, instructing Counsel/experts, and progressing a file through to Trial.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The role would suit either an ambitious junior Solicitor who is looking for a change in discipline within a leading law firm or, alternatively a more established, experienced lawyer who is seeking a move away from claimant personal injury.

You will ideally have good academics to back up your experience and come from a good reputable claimant firm.

FLEXIBLE WORKING
Flexible working is also offered and you will be able to work from home upto 3 days a week.
