Experienced Paralegal required for a Liverpool based law firm to handle non-litigated and litigated claims

The have opened this position for a commercial uninsured loss recovery legal advisor in order to combat a growing workload and new client instructions.

Your new role
The purpose of this role is to have day-to-day conduct of commercial Uninsured Loss Recovery files, which will be both non-litigated and litigated small claims, alongside setting up cases and liaising with brokers and commercial clients.
Alongside this, other responsibilities will be:

• To assist in the progress of cases in an appropriate and timely manner, making use of the firms Case Management Systems and using the agreed internal procedures and practices.
• To assess losses at all times to ensure that all the clients and source receive appropriate, professional and timely communication.
• Ensure pertinent legal advice is provided and client are kept fully informed on the progress of the claim in support of the file handlers.

What you'll need to succeed
This position is ideal for someone who has gained their law degree, and spent time working within litigation and/or insurance. Ideally you will have a minimum of 6 months prior experience, and having the LPC would be beneficial. As you will be spending a lot of time conversing with commercial clients and brokers, it is important that you have strong communication and IT skills.

The firm are offering a competitive salary for this position, up to c£23,000 which is negotiable dependant on your previous experience within this area. You will receive excellent training and progression opportunities through the firm. They also have a very flexible hybrid model in place, and you will only be required to attend their Liverpool office 2-3 days per week.
