London based, UK law firm is looking to hire a HR Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. This role will slot into a functioning and busy, close knit, collaborative team of 5, to provide effective and efficient support to the busy and expanding HR function. This role is a perfect opportunity for someone with at least 6 months’+ HR Administration/Assistant experience who is looking to grow and develop their legal HR career, the firm are also open to those with no HR experience who would be passionate about pursuing a career.

This will be a be generalist HR position and the successful candidate will be involved in assisting with a range of different tasks within the HR space but will also have ownership of range of their own duties. These will include but are not limited to maintaining up-to-date records, assist with the set-up and maintenance of electronic and paper HR files, assist with the recruitment and graduate recruitment processes, assist with the on-boarding processes for all London new starters, assist with the off-boarding processes, help with employee screenings, assist with client secondment processes, assist with benefits administration, salary review letters, manage London HR Inbox for all enquiries and undertake other ad-hoc duties when required, and work directly with the HR Business Partner and HR Director on a range of projects. Candidates will work with the Firms Partnership and must be comfortable dealing with senior staff members.

Applicants will require excellent accuracy and attention to detail, strong technical skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint- experience with HRIS systems is beneficial but not essential. Candidates will need to have strong administration and organisation skills able to remain calm under pressure and a keen interest in HR. Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm. With a generous hybrid working structure (minimum 3 days in office and 2 from home). Salary for this role will be experience dependent.
