Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting to a fantastic opportunity for an Interim Head of Corporate Law & Information Governance to join a public sector organisation based in Greater Manchester.

You will be an experienced senior lawyer, responsible for providing inspiring leadership and effective management of our Corporate Law and Governance team. You will have responsibility for financial and quality control of relevant legal and other work, work planning, and staff performance and development management as they relate to your areas of responsibility.

With your team you will be responsible for giving, procuring or overseeing the delivery of accurate, effective and timely advice in the following areas:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and providing procurement and contract dispute advice;
- information governance law (including oversight of our freedom of information, data protection and complaints functions);
- governance advice;
- employee relations and employment law, contentious and otherwise;
- potential challenges against the organisation (including public law challenges);
- property law issues;
- any other appropriate issues arising.

The role will last for an initial period of 6 months to cover permanent recruitment and can offer remote working.
