Your new role
A Legal Counsel position reporting into the Head of Legal within a team of 14 legal professionals. This ad-tech and media focused position will entail working closely with advertising, marketing and innovation teams. You will be involved in negotiating an exciting range of commercial agreements, pertaining to the company's media, broadcasting, app-development and ad-tech activities. You will need to understand and mitigate legal and regulatory risk, while negotiating the likes of SaaS, PaaS, data processing, software services and digital marketing agreements. You will support the business as it continues its services expansion in new markets, providing commercial, risk, data privacy and intellectual property expertise as you go.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK or Commonwealth qualified lawyer with at least 3-4 PQE (as a guide), and demonstrable experience in digital technology, media and/or ad tech matters. In-house experience is greatly welcomed, particularly if it is in a fast-paced technology driven, digital/media environment. The ability to manage stakeholders at different levels is important. A passion for all things digital and media will go a long way to establishing cultural fit, as would an understanding of Asian business etiquette.
