This is a commercial contracts focused role where you will work with senior stakeholders and the wider business providing commercial/ legal support.

  • Serve as the point of contact within Northern Europe for customers on commercial contractual matters, act as a contractual coordinator between customers and projects, services, credit services, ensuring timely review and agreement
  • Ability to work with different stakeholders at various levels within the business, proactively developing relationships with colleagues and decision makers
  • Deal efficiently with a mix of complex and straightforward agreements, and a myriad of business contract priorities, in a high-pressure environment
  • Liaise directly with the Commercial Legal Counsel NSE on all complex, unusual or high value contracts and use of the company special conditions clauses
  • Maintain contractual records and databases
  • Ensure signed contracts are communicated to the relevant stakeholders and provide details of key terms and conditions
  • Review, establish and develop best practice procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policies
  • Ensure the company is not exposed to unnecessary contractual and/or commercial risk
  • Drafting and reviewing contract terms in line with the business' risk tolerance principles and Group Mandatory Contractual Practices


The candidate must:

  • have exposure drafting, negotiating and amending commercial contracts (commercially driven whilst managing risk from legal perspective)
  • Be confident, a great communicator and ability to work efficiently and be pro-active
  • Be able to manage expectations and build strong and positive relationships
  • Bachelor's degree in Law
  • Strong communication and interpersonal sills
  • Clear organisation, time management and decision-making experience and be able to react efficiently to changing priorities
  • Able to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Demonstrable experience in drafting amendments, variations and negotiating contracts
  • Experienced in working autonomously and independently
  • Collaborative working style with demonstrated track records of achieving results
  • Successfully negotiate contracts with minimal supervision
  • Confidence to deliver training courses
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
