Legal Junior Project Manager

Hays Legal are delighted to represent one of the world's leading Capital Markets consultancies, many of which's clients are the world's leading investment banks. They are currently recruiting for a junior project manager to join their ever-growing legal team.


Your new role

This exciting opportunity as a project manager will focus on giving support in the operations of the legal process which will include:

• Management of the legal inbox and tracker and overseeing service-level agreements
• You will be supervising data collection and workflow, and overseeing important process improvements for the benefit of the company
• You will gain a deep understanding of both a client's financial products and the substantive legal areas in which that client does business
• Decomposition of legal work into work packages, managing timelines etc
• You will ensure compliance regulations and GDPR are adhered to and monitor record in line with company policy
• You will support in templates, precedents and knowledge management and ensure files are accurately structured

What you'll need to succeed

To be a successful candidate, you will need:

• A strong academic background, preferably a law degree or a legal mixed degree
• At least 1 years' experience in managing legal projects
• A confident communicator, competent in client interactions
• The ability to pick up technical training and apply this to client projects
• You will need to be organised and have a keen eye for detail
