Clinical Negligence Associate, London

The Healthcare team at this leading national defendant insurance practice is recruiting for its specialist Healthcare department based in London, to manage a case load of high value and complex clinical negligence claims, covering all aspects of healthcare law, including clinical negligence, clinical governance and advisory, consent to treatment, human rights and mental health.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team, renowned for its technical expertise and ability to achieve favourable outcomes for its clients, who include healthcare providers, in this challenging area of work. There will be the opportunity to develop junior lawyers in the team as well as contribute to and lead on business development initiatives.

Candidates should be qualified Solicitors with at least 6 years PQE, with an interest in healthcare law and be highly motivated to providing quality advice and developing this practice area. An aptitude for teamwork, ability to use your own initiative, excellent communication and organisational skills and undertake detailed analysis are also essential for this role as is an ability to work under pressure, keep to strict deadlines, multi-task and prioritise your workload.
