An experienced Legal Secretary is needed to join a highly regarded and award winning South Manchester based law firm working on a one to one basis to the Head of the Private Client department. Previous legal secretarial experience is essential.
 
As a legal secretary you will be providing general administrative support, such as answering telephone calls, taking messages and photocopying documents. You will be required to be proficient in word processing, excellent communication and typing skills.
 
The role is permanent and you would be required to work full-time 5 days per week 9.00am to 5.30pm
 
Duties include
  • Typing Solicitors’ audio files and written notes
  • Transcribing and proofreading legal documents
  • Take departmental calls and be helpful to all callers
  • To assist the entire office as and when the business requires.
  • Experience of working on a legal case management system
  • Opening new files
  • Dealing with correspondence
  • Demonstrate a high standard professional approach to clients
  • Great attention to detail
