Hays are delighted to be representing a leading international law firm in Belfast that is currently recruiting for a number of law graduates to join their Alternative Legal Services (ALT) team as legal analysts on a permanent basis. Your new role

This firm is currently recruiting for legal analysts across a wide range of areas. You may have the opportunity to work in any of the alternative legal teams' practice areas, dependant on business needs.

Disputes Resolution
The Disputes team is experienced in complex large scale document review, sensitive and time critical investigations and regulatory matters, consumer claims management and large-scale remediation schemes. This team works closely with and provide support to other practice groups and are continually expanding their service offerings. The disputes resolution team are experts in complex review elements including legal professional privilege, commercial sensitivity and data protection working across all industry sectors including financial services, energy, retail, TMT and construction.

Corporate
The Corporate team works closely with the company's corporate practice as it guides the world's commercial organisations through all stages of their corporate development, including M&A, capital markets, investment funds, commercial contracts, corporate restructurings and regulatory matters. They also work directly with many of the firm's key clients, supporting them with day-to-day "business-as-usual" legal work, often as a seamless extension to their in-house legal teams.

Real Estate
The Real Estate team has extensive experience of adding value to a wide variety of both transactional and contentious matters, including assessment management; acquisitions and disposals; due diligence; portfolio management; and general litigation support.

Finance
The Finance team works closely with the London, Paris and other international offices across the firm's network, providing high-quality transactional support on a broad and varied spectrum of finance work, including real estate finance, trade finance, acquisition finance, project finance, securitisations and aviation finance.



What you'll need to succeed

Essential

• Law graduate (2:2 or above) or a post-graduate qualification in law with a minimum of 3 A levels (ideally B grades and above).
• Ability to review, analyse and organise documentary and factual evidence.
• Excellent attention to detail; aims to get it right first time.
• Aptitude for learning (and becoming proficient in) the use of software and IT applications, and using search terms intelligently to navigate large databases/document management systems.

Desirable

• 6 months to a year's work experience in an office based environment.
• Fluency in a second language with an ability to translate legal documents into English. Western European languages an advantage, but other languages (e. Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, Korean or Russian) especially desirable.
