Our client who are an award-winning, top tier international law firm located in the heart of Edinburgh city centre are seeking a NQ energy & finance solicitor to join their dynamic Energy & Infrastructure Finance team, which is part of the firm's Projects Group.
The team are involved in a wide range of top tier and high value project and finance work including, energy project development work, energy regulation, renewable energy finance and M&A, upstream oil & gas finance, energy efficiency and low carbon advisory mandates. Clients range from well known utilities, UK and international banks, renewable energy developers, oil and gas/energy companies, infrastructures funds and private equity.
As this is a transactional role, you will be responsible for dealing with a large amount of client contact and developing relationships with existing clients as well creating opportunities for new clients.
The successful candidate will have ideally gained experience in a large commercial firm with an established energy practice. You will also be commercially minded and have sound interpersonal skills.
