A highly respected local authority based in London is seeking a Childcare Paralegal for an initial three months to start at the end of June.

The successful Childcare Paralegal will be required to hit the ground running from the outset. You will need to undertake the following tasks:

  • Prepare bundles
  • Liaise with experts and counsel
  • Draft applications
  • Handle a caseload of PLO matters
  • Assist with S.7 and S.37 reports
  • Draft witness statements
  • Assist the Lawyers and Principal Lawyer with general administrative tasks

Due to the urgent nature of the role, the local authority is seeking candidates available on short notice. This is a hybrid working role so some office attendance will be required. Previous paralegal experience within a childcare/family department is essential.

Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.

At LAW Absolute we endeavour to respond to all applications within 48 hours. However due to the volume of applications we receive we may not be able to respond to every candidate individually.

If you have not heard from us within a 48 hour timeframe your application has not been successful and your details have not been retained. LAW Absolute acts as an employment business for temporary recruitment and as an employment agency for fixed term contract and permanent recruitment.
