At Interlink Talent Solutions we are working with a leading global US firm in their search for an exceptional Senior Banking Associate. The Role

  • To carry out a broad range of finance work as part of an ambitious, motivated and growing team.
  • Acting for lenders and borrowers, you will work on a variety of lending transactions.
  • Acting for a wide range of funders including banks, insurers and debt funds.
  • Our client also has a significant borrower side practice acting for specialist finds, private equity sponsors and large corporates.
  • The practice areas covered by the team include real estate finance, corporate lending, acquisition finance, restructuring and global loans.
  • Many of the transactions our client works on are cross border due to the nature of the firm and so you will have the opportunity to work with an unparalleled network of offices around the world.
  • They are focused on supporting and developing members of their team, providing them with the opportunity to stretch themselves whilst ensuring they have the necessary tools at hand in the form of precedents and know-how resources second to none.
  • In addition, you will be encouraged and empowered to get involved in marketing and business development initiatives.
  • To support you in this role, you will have the benefit of our award winning learning and development programmes.
  • We are looking for candidates approximately 6 years post qualifying experience in general banking to work.
  • We are happy to consider candidates either in or around Birmingham.

Required experience, skills and attributes

  • A qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
  • At least 6 years’ post qualifying experience in general banking work
  • Enthusiastic about keeping up with the latest trends in the areas the firm covers
  • Proven ability to communicate well at all levels
  • Proven ability to organise and prioritise effectively
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team whilst also using initiative
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to change
  • Proven ability to build effective client relationships
  • Proven ability to solve problems and deal with client matters
  • Strong aspirations to succeed
  • Evidence to support keen interest in business development
