Job Title: Civil Litigation Lawyer – Locum

Job description: We have a fantastic opportunity to join a Local Authority in South Yorkshire as a Civil Litigation Locum. Our client is looking for someone immediately on a full-time, mainly remote basis whilst they aim to recruit permanently.
Main Responsibilities:
- Handling a standard general caseload of matters – to include Housing and Property matters
- Experience with business rates is ideal
- Progress between 40-50 cases
- Matters predominantly fall within Housing Disrepair due to an increase of work
- Attending own hearings in South Yorkshire on occasion (this is negotiable)
- Provide general advice to Council departments on Litigation matters
Hourly Rate: £45-£50ph
The client is willing to consider applications from Solicitors/Legal Executives with the relevant experience within Private Practice, as well as Local Authority
