Real Estate Paralegal
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a mid-sized city law firm with potential for a training contract.
The Team
The real estate paralegal can look forward to working within a small team with a partner who is ranked in Chambers, and having a high level of responsibility assisting on real estate matters.
The team cover all aspects of commercial property including landlord and tenant, property acquisitions and disposals and property finance. Clients range from property companies and developers to institutions and also include high net worth individuals.
The Role
The successful real estate paralegal will mainly be working for two high profile clients and will take ownership over their own caseload and be responsible for drafting, negotiating and reporting on leases, licences, concession agreements and related documents. You will also assist on larger transactions and undertake due diligence and other tasks.
Due to the size of the team you will also get the chance to attend client meetings, networking events and have client contact during the transactions.
The Requirements
As the real estate paralegal will have a high level of responsibility it is expected you will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar real estate paralegal role. Ideally you will have experience drafting leases and licences, but will be considered from super commercial property paralegals who can demonstrate they can pick things up quickly.
Although experience in a similar city firm is preferred, the firm are very open to receiving applications from real estate paralegals with the relevant experience gained in a regional firm seeking to relocate to London.
