The Role

The firm is looking for a Construction & Engineering Partner to join their growing office in central Manchester.

You will deal with a wide range of construction and engineering matters with demand across a range of commercial sectors including; commercial developments, civil engineering, pharmaceuticals, and construction material supplies.

The caseload with be varied making it for an interesting role as you will work on major multi-million-pound developments to small-scale project agreements. You will deal with a mix of high-level work including; framework agreements, novation agreements, engineering contracts, development agreements, warranties and bonds.

You will work closely with other Partners more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team. This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda. The firm are succession planning are keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers.

Requirements

  • You will be a Construction Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE)
  • You will be used to dealing with a non-contentious caseload
  • You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skills
  • You will have strong business development capabilities

Remuneration

  • Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and very lucrative bonus scheme
