Property Damage Associate / Senior Associate - The expanding property damage and liability team is looking for an NQ - 2 PQE with a strong commercial litigation skill set to add further strength to the department. This is an area of law which demands a demonstrable background in dispute resolution and the team is looking to recruit a robust litigator who can really excel.

Vast range of challenging, impactful work
The Manchester property liability department forms part of the wider national and international team advising high value, complex subrogated loss matters, policy coverage disputes and fraud. The firm advises most if not all of the top insurance houses in the market on national and international disputes.
Examples of cases handled by the team
Instructions might include claims relating to fire damage, chemical leaks, water escapes as well as construction and engineering disputes. Such claims are often high-value, complex and highly sensitive. The team is renowned for its ability to handle demanding, large-scale contentious matters and has a formidable range of experience on which to draw.
Broad range of skills considered
The team will readily consider candidates at all levels including NQs. All applicants should have a proven background in litigation, whether that be in commercial insurance litigation eg property damage; professional indemnity or another area of reinsurance / subrogated loss.
The team has also recruited candidates with a more general commercial litigation background including areas with a transferable skill set such as debt recovery.
