Tier 1, global, law firm has retained us to recruit a talented and ambitious Compliance & Risk Associate Solicitor due to strategic expansion.

Services provided across these sectors include asset management and investment funds, corporate and M&A, commercial, competition, litigation and arbitration, banking, restructuring, insurance, regulatory, construction, projects, pensions, property, planning and environmental, procurement, outsourcing, employment, share plans and incentives, technology and tax advice.

The Team

The current team of financial services regulatory lawyers provides regulatory advice to a wide range of financial services businesses including banks, insurance companies, investment managers, fund managers, financial intermediaries, pension providers, payment service providers and those involved in consumer finance.
The Team is especially well-known for advising insurance sector clients, payment service providers and consumer finance but it also has expertise in banks, retail investments and funds.
You will gain fantastic exposure to the non-contentious regulatory partners but will also have the opportunity to work on contentious (non-litigation) matters.
The team includes experienced partners and fee earners with in-depth experience of all aspects of financial services regulation. The team is in a growth phase at all levels of qualification. There are also opportunities to undertake secondments to some of our larger clients.

The Role

The firm is seeking a newly qualified non-contentious financial services Solicitor for their London office.

You will have:

Had a seat in Financial Regulation at a City firm or large regional practice or at the FCA

Strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills
Whether clients are carrying on regulated activities in the UK or internationally;

How clients can become authorised and deal with changes to their regulatory position;

A team player mind set with the ability to forge strong working relationships with colleagues in an agile environment

Solid organisational and project management skills
