Sellick Partnership are working with a well-established law firm where an opportunity has arisen for a Managing Director.
Our client is looking for a strategic visionary with excellent leadership skills to lead the business in achieving its short and long term objectives. The successful candidate would need to demonstrate experience in developing and delivering strategic business plans with proven experience at a senior management level.
They're looking for someone with thorough knowledge of the residential conveyancing market and a strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance.
Job Purpose
The Managing Director has responsibility for controlling and overseeing business operations, and the delivery and implementation of agreed business strategies along with management of its people. The role is supported by an already establish and strong senior management team.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's business strategies
- Provide strategic advice to the owner Directors so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company's future
- Overseeing the businesses financial performance and resource management
- Member of the Practice Management Group at the Conveyancing Association
- MLRO, MLCO, SRO, DPO
- Responsibility for managing all aspects of business and people management
- Design and implementation of the Strategic Plan
- Responsibility for design and implementation of the Business Development Plan
- Design and implementation of risk strategies and regulatory compliance
- Ensure company policies and the regulatory requirements of the SRA and AML are communicated throughout the company and that they are followed at all times
