The client

A leading online trading firm is looking for a regulatory lawyer to join its growing legal team. Reporting into the EMEA General Counsel, you will be the lead in London advising on a range of regulatory matters across their different offices in Europe.

The Role

Advising key stakeholders in the business on a cross border basis, your focus will be on non-contentious financial regulation including MiFID/MiFIR, EMIR, LIBOR, MAR etc. (you don’t need to have covered all these regulations)

The roles are focused on non-contentious financial regulation including AIFMD, MiFID II, EMIR, LIBOR, MAR etc. (you don’t need to have covered all these regulations)

  • Interpret and analyse existing and upcoming legislation, regulatory policy developments and assessing its impact on the organisation.
  • Advise the senior stakeholders in relation to the interpretation and implementation of new regulatory developments including market infrastructure topics, digital assets trading and payments service.
  • Providing training to the business on new regulatory developments.
  • Liaising with and instructing external counsel when required.

The Candidate

  • 4 PQE+ Financial services regulatory lawyer either from in-house or from a leading law firm.
  • Proactive lawyer who is keen to support a dynamic business with record year on year growth
