The Role:
This National Top 50 ranked firm is seeking to hire a Social Housing Associate 1-5 PQE into their thriving City of London office.
You will take on a role with solid opportunities for progression, primarily focused on development matters related to social and affordable housing.
You will be given the opportunity to play a key part in a number of projects such as the acquisition of land for development as well as forward funding and forward commitment agreement for the development of housing.
Other work will relate to a wide variety of agreements covering planning, nominations and infrastructure, management and leases, joint ventures, lease/leaseback funding arrangements and commercial leases.
The work will be varied, but the firm is looking for someone to join the team when progression prospects are clear. You will benefit from firm-wide and sector-specific training as the practice truly believes in investing in its staff.
Requirements:
- You will be a solicitor qualified in England & Wales 1-5 PQE
- You will have relevant experience in real estate law, ideally within the social housing sector
- Advanced communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively are essential
