LEGAL ADVISOR - TECH/SAAS - 1-3 YEARS' PQE - HYBRID/REMOTE WORKING - SUPER DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY!
My client is a technology company with its headquarters in London. The business focus on strategic investments into startup companies that support the research lifecycle.
They are looking for a junior legal counsel to join their collegiate and valued legal team.
This role is a broad commercial/IT/IP one, with a particular focus on SaaS customer agreements and related topics, and you will be expected to have or develop a general knowledge of data protection laws (e. GDPR).
This role will form an integral part of the existing legal team in London and will be provided with lots of support and opportunities to learn about the business, and to grow together with it.
They are a fast paced, rapidly evolving business, so while the position is a junior role within the team, it still requires someone who is hands-on and excellent at prioritising and enjoys a wide range of work.
The role is likely to be involved in the following activities:
- Involvement in drafting, review and negotiation of ALL types of commercial contracts, including customer agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs etc.
- Drafting and maintenance of on-line documentation (website T&Cs, privacy policies etc etc)
- Data privacy topics
- RFP support
- Contract template development
This role will offer someone a serious level of genuine development and support. If you are also looking to work for a business that is a more altruistic and noble environment, then please apply.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
