You will be providing first line support to internal teams and will have regular exposure to senior stakeholders within the business. be involved in interesting and varied work and operate with a high level of autonomy

Description

Responsibilities:
* Reviewing, negotiating, drafting and supporting on a broad range of commercial contracts.
* Supporting tender processes (public and private sector)
* Procurement and supply chain support
* IP: managing expanding trademark and patent portfolio
* Providing general and commercial legal advice, guidance to the wider business on ad hoc legal
issues, disputes and business projects
* Advice around Data Protection (good understanding of GDPR and working practices is essential)
* Assisting with the maintenance of a centralised legal contracts database
* Assisting with Company Secretarial matters
* Strategic project work to support effective risk management
* Providing support to other team members, as required.
* Performing other duties as required or assigned.

Profile

Excellent organisational skills and with high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lead and to
work independently as well as contribute to the small, supportive team. Strong communication
skills and able to make risk based decisions, influence and defend recommendations throughout
the business.


You will have trained and qualified at a national or regional law firm or a highly regarded in house
organisation and will have gained a minimum of 5 years' PQE as a commercial lawyer who has
extensive experience advising on commercial contracts.
