Private Client Lawyer

Having grown exponentially over the last few years, leading Cheltenham based firm are looking to add to their Older & Vulnerable private client team.

The firm are looking for a confident, self-motivating candidate who is about to qualify or has recently qualified as a Solicitor or a Legal Executive with experience working with older clients and dealing with Court of Protection matters.

The role:
- Assisting partners and fee earners with cases as well as taking ownership of your own case load from the point of instruction to conclusion
- Providing high grade, profitable fee earning support
- Advising on and managing a wide range of support within the older and vulnerable people team
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge
- Contributing to business development opportunities and identify networking opportunities internally and externally, marketing and cross selling

Requirements:
- NQ-3 PQE
- To be a recently qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Ideally have STEP Advanced Certificate in Advising Vulnerable clients (can work towards this if not)
- Have some experience in working with older clients and dealing with Court of Protection applications and file management
- Knowledge of care needs assessments and care funding
- Demonstrable technical ability and excellent drafting skills
- Can demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills
- Proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail
