The team operates as a seamless unit between its global offices, advising on a broad range of commercial matters across a number of sectors. The team focuses on work of the highest quality and its clients range from large blue chip organisations to smaller commercial entities. Its main focus is on technology, media and communications as well as financial services, life sciences and energy.

In this Technology and Data Protection Associate role, you will be responsible for:

A broad range of commercial, IT, IP and data protection matters;
Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts such as collaboration, licensing, supply and distribution agreements;
Providing efficient professional support for partners;
Developing professional relationships with clients;
Supporting the wider team in developing business and raising profile of the firm; and
Involvement in marketing events

You will have excellent analytical skills and experience of running your own files and assisting partners on more complex, higher value deals and transactions along with sound judgement and good interpersonal and consultancy skills.

Due to the role being client facing, experience and confidence in dealing directly with clients is essential. It would be advantageous if you had some experience in the technology, media or communications sectors.
