Locum Childcare Paralegal is required to join a local authority based in the Home Counties on a locum basis for a period of 6 months and the view to extend thereafter.
You will be joining a highly regarded local authority and a warm and friendly team with a supportive manager. The successful Childcare Paralegal will be undertaking the following duties;
- Handling your own cases of S7 and S37 matters
- Part 25 , drafting applications
- Liaising and assisting with police disclosures
- Instructing and liaising with external counsel on behalf of solicitors
Our client requires candidates ideally on a full time basis as you would be one of two paralegals in the team and will be supporting 3 lawyers. Candidates that have previous experience of working in a local authority setting are strongly encouraged to apply however candidates with previous childcare experience in private practice are also encouraged to apply.
