This global investment firm is looking to hire a junior lawyer (minimum 1 PQE) with funds experience to join their close-knit team. Whilst the firm is headquartered in heart of the City of London this role offers hybrid working from day one.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel you will provide legal support for the business in relation to regulated funds across multiple jurisdictions, with particular attention to Irish funds. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and negotiating investment management agreements, commercial contracts, service contracts. You will also be responsible for updating prospectuses for new funds, share classes, regulatory updates, changes to investment objectives & fund closures.
The successful candidate will be 1+ PQE financial services lawyer, with strong contract negotiation experience and a background in financial services, specifically funds and derivatives. Experience with Irish regulatory issues relevant to UCITS and AIFs will be highly beneficial as would any experience with ISDA or derivatives trading document negotiation. Previous in-house experience is a bonus but not essential. In return you will get to work alongside experienced lawyers in a collegiate & supportive environment.
