We are recruiting to an exciting opportunity closely within a London Borough Council as a locum Housing Lawyer.

This is a remote working role paying £30 - 40 per hour, umbrella rate. The role is working remotely, with some court/office attendance required located within Central London (one average 1 day per week).

The successful Housing Lawyer will be responsible for handling a caseload of the following matters:

  • Possession
  • Anti-Social Behavious (ASB)
  • Disrepair
  • Rent arrears
  • Succession

My client is looking for a qualified Solicitor or Barrister, who has previous advocacy experience with relation to Housing Law. The successful candidate will ideally have some local government experience however they will consider non-local government background and are flexible on the level of experience.

This is a great opportunity for somebody to work flexibly with a well-respected London Borough Council. Due to this role being a longer term contract, it allows for the successful Housing Lawyer to immerse themselves within the team and make a real difference.
