Employment lawyer 0 – 3 & 4+ years’ PQE LONDON

Commercial law firm in London is looking to recruit two Employment lawyers, one of 0 to 3 and the other 4 or more years’ PQE. This particular position will focus on supporting the team's financial and commercial sector clients, which includes five of the top ten investment banks and major multinational employers. The successful candidates will undertake a busy and varied workload of Employment matters, advising all types of employers, but with an emphasis on our financial services sector clients. Key aspects of the roles include: (i) working on complex discrimination, whistle blowing and breach of contract litigation [in Employment Tribunal and High Court] either autonomously or under an appropriate level of supervision [depending on your PQE] (ii) assisting on non-contentious projects including restructures (redundancy and TUPE) in the UK and across multiple jurisdictions (iii) General employment advisory work by telephone and email (iv)

Taking part in marketing, networking and other business development activities in order to maintain and develop work from existing clients and potential clients. This includes assisting with client seminars and delivering training (v) contribute to non fee-earning activity as appropriate eg. knowledge sharing, internal training.

If you are qualified, you will currently specialise in Employment law and must have experience of working on tribunal claims and other contentious matters. Newly qualified lawyers will have undertaken a seat in Employment law.
