Commercial Contracts Solicitor

An opportunity to join a Legal 500 commercial team as a Commercial Contracts Solicitor in their Birmingham office. This is a well-respected firm, known for the high quality of their work and their work with a variety of commercial clients, ranging from owner managed businesses to global PLCs.

The ideal candidate will have 2+PQE in a commercial law or commercial contracts role. They will be required to have excellent client care and communication skills. They will also be required to be motivated to work alone and contribute to networking and business development when required.

The role allows for career development and working with a varied and interesting caseload whilst working closely with the Head of Department. In this role, the successful candidate may be required to:

• Draft and negotiate a wide range of B2B contracts, standard agreements e. terms of sales and contracts of distribution, as well as standard terms of sales for consumers.
• Advise on data protection compliance
• Provide support to the corporate team
• Legal research and providing up to date legal advice to clients
• Participate in business development

The role may require a brief time at the Derby office for the induction. The role is also available permanently in Birmingham.
