The Role:

This internationally recognised Banking team is looking for a Legal Director to join their Manchester team.

The Banking team are involved in a good spread of premium banking work, including leveraged finance, REF, corporate lending and energy finance. They have been involved in several high-profile deals in 2022 alone.

The team are barely scratching the surface with their existing client base, and you will have the opportunity to 'own' client relationships from day one and develop your market profile. You will also play a vital role in the team's ongoing growth, by recruiting, mentoring and supporting junior lawyers.

In line with the team's continued growth, you can expect a transparent progression path through to Partnership, with no PQE barriers or internal politics. You will also receive an attractive package and have genuine flexibility.


  • This role would suit an established LD looking for a clear path to partnership, or a Senior Associate ready to take a step up
  • Experience gained in a respected Banking & Finance team
  • You will have had exposure to one or more of the following: leveraged finance, REF, energy finance, general banking, corporate lending, securitisation
