COMMERCIAL LITIGATION (4 - 8 PQE) (CAYMAN) (US$160K - US$220K) (TAX-FREE)

The Cayman office of this global offshore firm possesses a very strong and highly-respected litigation team which is now looking to hire an additional lawyer with between 4 - 8 years' PQE. You will need to be a solicitor or barrister admitted in the UK, Australia, New Zealand or Canada and be able to demonstrate extensive experience of handling complex and high value commercial litigation matters. Areas in which the team are regularly involved include insolvency, banking and financial disputes, commercial disputes, fraud and asset tracing, company law disputes, trusts disputes, funds disputes, and professional negligence. The work can often be cross-border in nature and the value of cases ranges from tens of millions to billions of dollars.

All the islands (a) have English as their main language and (b) have a very friendly, lively and cosmopolitan expat community (circa 50% of the population in Bermuda, BVI and Cayman are expats drawn from every corner of the globe), which makes settling into island life much easier. In addition, no exams are necessary to get admitted and practise in Cayman, BVI or Bermuda.
