Our large US law firm client, headquartered in New York is currently looking for a DEI Specialist to join them in their London office on a permanent part-time basis. This role can work 4 days-a-week or be full time depending on the preference of the candidate. The Team is responsible for the development of D&I strategy in line with the Firm's strategy and business goals and will liaise closely with the US team to ensure strategy is being implemented effectively in its UK office. Candidates will be involved with HR policies, will work closely with all practices and initiatives including professional development, recruitment and selection, Affinity groups and will assist with organising events.
Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to acting as a key contact for the clients internal diversity and inclusion networks, communicating with members about meetings and sharing information with them, assisting with events and awareness campaigns, organising regular meetings with the firm’s D&I groups, supporting the DEI Manager and wider HR team with diversity benchmark submissions and diversity reporting, managing a programme of internal D&I seminars and events, including researching potential speakers, booking speakers and rooms, internal advertising, co-ordinating attendees, collating feedback, working with the DEI Manager to draft regular internal communications including via the intranet and through quarterly firm-wide updates on initiatives and events, D&I project work including awareness days and even attending DEI and Wellbeing seminars and events.
Candidates should have experience at a HR Advisor level within a professional services or law firm environment as well as experience working specifically within one of the following Diversity, Inclusion, HR Projects or Wellbeing. The core hours for this role will be 9am – 5pm and this role is paying up to £40,000.
