Corporate Insurance Lawyer

A once in a lifetime opportunity has arisen for a 2021/2022 qualified lawyer to join a global US heavyweight to join their Corporate department to focus on M&As, insurance and insurance regulation.

The firm:

• The London office has more than 120 lawyers, which is comprised of 25 partners.
• Headquartered in New York, but you will be working closely with lawyers in Paris & Frankfurt.
• The corporate insurance team consists of 1 partner, 1 international counsel and 2 associates.

The Role:

• Covers a mix of M&A, Insurance and insurance regulation.
• You will be advising insurers/reinsurers. PE firms and brokers on M&As and insurance portfolio transactions.
• Work on insurance regulation law.

Requirements:

• For a September 2022 qualifier, a candidate who has done 2 seats, one in M&A and one in insurance would be required.
• For a 2021 qualifier, a 2021 qualifier in insurance would be considered, but you'd need to want to focus on corporate insurance.
• Have experience at a top magic circle/US firm.
