The Role:

This is a highly rewarding opportunity for a Commercial Senior Associate to join the firm's dynamic office in Newcastle.

The L500 Top Tier Commercial team are led by a group of talented partners, recognised as leaders in their field, who possess key specialist knowledge across the commercial field. With clients varying from Leo Vegas Gaming to Northern Gas & Power, the work is broad and usually high profile.

You will manage a diverse commercial caseload, including commercial contract drafting, negotiating and reviewing; educating clients on their contractual processes; providing guidance through contractual disputes. You will work with clients across a range of sectors such as technology and sport, providing expert knowledge in those areas.

You will also closely mentor junior members of the commercial team, and offer constructive training to support their development.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda. The firm are succession planning and keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers, providing you with the platform for future partnership.

Requirements:

• You will be an experienced Commercial Solicitor with at least 6 years PQE
• You will have an ability to demonstrate an exceptional understanding of the technical legal issues that are key to the firm's commercial clients
• You will be comfortable working in a close-knit, collaborative environment with a willingness to get involved in business development
• You will have an authoritative and approachable personality with an ambition to support and develop others
