The Role:
- This is a highly progressive opportunity for a Construction & Engineering Solicitor to join the firm's vibrant office in Leeds, with hybrid working in place
- The Construction team provide specialist advice on a full spectrum of both contentious and non-contentious matters for a broad range of employers, contractors, construction professionals and financial institutions
- As such, you will have a diverse caseload, including negotiations, dispute avoidance, court proceedings, adjudications, mediations, construction & engineering contracts, warranties, bonds and other advisory work & project documentation
- As a junior solicitor, you will also receive incremental support from industry-leading individuals and gain exposure to complex disputes and projects, placing you years ahead of your PQE
- You will find that this opportunity comes with a high level of career investment; you will be working alongside respected lawyers, who will give you the platform to further expand your Construction network and progress through the ranks
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified Solicitor from NQ to 4 years PQE
- Ideally completed a seat in contentious and/or non-contentious construction
- Well-organised and proactive
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good written and oral communication skills
