Global law firm is looking to appoint a Senior Commercial Associate to join its UK IPT team of experts based in Manchester

THE TEAM
The global commercial and IPT team is known as a leader in the field with expertise and experience in acting on cross-border and international transactions
Its UK team acts on behalf of a broad range of UK and international companies both within and outside the UK together with some public sector bodies across most industry sectors
The team handles a wide range of commercial contracts for the procurement and supply of all types of goods and services often relating to the application of new technology
Due to expansion over the past few years, there has been an increasing amount of national and international work from some very high profile clients in addition to assisting clients on a more local basis
THE ROLE
This role will involve working alongside some extremely well respected partners nationally and internationally, which will include;
Advising clients on significant transactions relating to systems integration, outsourcing, facilities management and logistics together with a wide range of IT transactions acting for both suppliers and users of technology solutions in relation to, cloud computing, agile systems development, cybersecurity, data, and e-commerce matters.
Working closely with the corporate team putting together supply, IT separation and licensing agreements as part of corporate transactions
REQUIREMENTS
Solicitors 6 PQE + are encouraged to apply for this role
Proven background in commercial and / or IPT work with a recognised private practice or in house team
Eager to build lasting relationships with clients and advisers
