Duty Solicitor (Duty CILEX) NQ+ PQE to be based in Manchester, attracting a salary of up to £35,000 (DOE) with extensive benefits.



DUTY SOLICITOR:
We have a vacancy for a Duty Solicitor or a Duty CILEX for this clients busy and prestigious crime department, working predominantly in the Greater Manchester and Lancashire areas. The firm operate out of a number of locations throughout the North West and have a long standing reputation as excellent defence lawyers. Existing police station accreditation is a preferable qualification but applicants without will be considered. The role will involve all aspects of criminal defence work from the police station through to court. You will be required to have a good standard of computer literacy and keyboard skills, excellent organisational skills and attention to details are a must. Strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills both written and verbal, full driving licence and access to a car.

The firm provide friendly, professional advice in the manner a traditional high street law firm would, but this is now blended with a 21st Century approach. The practice has grown organically to incorporate nine offices stretching across the North West. Although a regional firm, a number of the firms departments service clients throughout England and Wales. The firm also holds a number of industry related accreditations across all its service areas, in particular the Lexcel Practice Management Standard.
